Yazoo City man dies after being shot multiple times
SUMMARY: A Yazoo City man, 35-year-old Jarvis Williams, was shot multiple times early Sunday and later pronounced dead at Baptist Medical Center Yazoo. The Yazoo County Coroner, Ricky Shivers, confirmed the shooting incident was reported just before 3:00 a.m. and is now classified as a homicide. One killed, three injured in Yazoo County crash
SUMMARY: A two-vehicle crash in Yazoo County, Mississippi, resulted in one fatality and three injuries early Saturday morning, October 12. The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on U.S. 49 when a 2015 Honda Accord collided head-on with a Chevrolet Suburban, which subsequently caught fire. The driver of the Honda, 20-year-old Javiya Myles from Bentonia, died at the scene. The Chevrolet’s driver and two passengers were taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson with unknown injuries. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
