WXXV Student-Athlete of the Week: Ziron “Dank” Brown

SUMMARY: Bay High’s offensive lineman, Ziron Brown, has been named the WXXV Student-Athlete of the Week. Known by his nickname “Dank”, Brown has been playing football since he was seven. He says his motivation to play has always been his mother, who raised him single-handedly. Brown has been selected to take part in the 2023 Bernard Blackwell All-Star game. He is also the first football player chosen from the Bay-Waveland school district for this honor. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Brown is also academically gifted and has committed to Stanford University to pursue his academic and athletic career.
