www.wxxv25.com – WXXV Staff – 2025-02-21 12:48:00

SUMMARY: The Senate Finance Committee has advanced legislation to reduce Mississippi’s income tax and grocery sales tax while increasing the gasoline tax. Republican senators argue these changes will stimulate the economy, proposing to decrease the flat 4% income tax to 2.99% over four years.
