Young athletes compete in Junior Olympics in Jackson

SUMMARY: The second day of the US Region Six Junior Olympics at Hughes Field in Millsaps showcased various field . In the 18 and under pole vault, Nick Fallon from Alabama set a personal record by clearing four meters. In the girls' 12 and under pentathlon long jump, Morgan Martinez from placed third, while Memphis teammates Allyson Oliver and Coryell Hamilton secured second and first, respectively, with Hamilton jumping 4.39m. In the triathlon high jump, Payton Johnson from New Orleans won by clearing 1.15m, followed by Coy Deming in second. Eight-year-old Jamya Stigall also made a memorable impression.
