The Community is involved in the 4th Annual Scarecrow Contest
SUMMARY: In October, National Dyslexia Awareness Month, local businesses in Mississippi are decorating scarecrows for a good cause. The Illumination Center for Dyslexia is hosting its fourth annual scarecrow decorating contest to raise awareness and support. With 35 scarecrows displayed throughout downtown Meridian, sponsored by various organizations, participants can share their stories through their creations. Funds raised will go towards dyslexia therapy for students at the center. Winners will be announced on November 2 at Singing Breakman Park, and entries and votes are still being accepted.

Blitz: Week 7
SUMMARY: In this week‘s edition of Blitz, the undefeated Hartfield Hawks faced the Madison-Ridgeland Patriots, ultimately losing 44-35 despite a strong comeback effort.
