SUMMARY: Investigators from Tennessee are testifying against Bruce Mendenhall, a truck stop serial killer on trial for murder in Indianapolis. Retired Nashville Metro Police Sergeant Pat Postiglione described encountering Mendenhall at a truck stop in 2007 while investigating a murder. During the search, police found blood-stained evidence, including women’s clothing, a debit card, and a phone belonging to the victim. Mendenhall, convicted of two murders in Tennessee, faces more charges in Alabama. The trial is nearing its conclusion with additional testimonies.
One of the witnesses called to the stand was the Metro police sergeant who caught the suspect at a Nashville truck stop 17 years ago.

‘Safe Stays’ app creates ease finding shelter, hotels for domestic violence victims

Tennessee residents, National Guard to play role in Trump inauguration
