Wooton man accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend

SUMMARY: One person has been charged a fatal shooting in Leslie County. and local deputies responded to the Wooten Community around 3:30 AM, finding 49-year-old Mary Andrews with a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital but later died. Her boyfriend, William Pennington, has been and is currently in the Leslie County Detention Center, facing charges of first-degree manslaughter.

A Wooton man has been charged in connection to a deadly shooting investigation by Kentucky State Police (KSP) and the Leslie County Sheriff’s Office.
