Woman shoots intruder who crashed into house in Carroll County

SUMMARY: A mother in Carol County shot an intruder in an attempt to protect her three children. The suspect, Steve GS Jr, drove his truck into the woman’s living room after failing to kick in the front door. Sheriff Clinton Walker interviewed the mother, who was traumatized by the incident. The intruder had tried to kill them with his truck and a knife before the mother sent her children to a safe room and shot the intruder three times when he tried to enter. GS was arrested and charged with burglary and four counts of attempted murder. The family is determined to ensure he does not return to Carol County.
