Woman found dead inside Third Ward apartment after HFD responds to reported fire
SUMMARY: A woman was tragically killed in a house fire near Texas Southern University in Houston. The fire started before noon on Trillo Street, where firefighters found signs of smoke and burns, although the flames were already extinguished. Emergency crews rescued a woman, but she later died in the ambulance. Fortunately, the smoke detectors in the home were operational. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
While inside, firefighters found a woman surrounded by soot and smoke. According to HFD Deputy Chief J. Pennington, the fire was already out.

19-year-old on the way to pick up girlfriend shot, killed in possible road rage shooting

Tim Walz-JD Vance prepping for Vice Presidential Debate on Tuesday
