Woman arrested in suspicion of illegal dumping
SUMMARY: Jackson police made their 12th arrest in an ongoing crackdown on illegal dumping, apprehending 37-year-old Ashley Shepherd. She was reportedly operating an illegal dumping business, hiring individuals to dispose of trash on College Hill Drive near I-220. One of her employees, Anthony Lindsay Jr., was arrested the previous week. The Jackson Police Department is calling on the public to report any sightings of illegal dumping to assist in their efforts to combat this issue.
