Woman accused of shoplifting at Byram Walmart captured in McComb
SUMMARY: McComb police arrested Deneshia Harvey, wanted for shoplifting at the Walmart in Byram. Following her court appearance, she will be extradited to Byram. Deneshia and Shanequia Harvey allegedly shoplifted nearly $2,000 worth of items, including lawn equipment, Nerf guns, and clothes. Walmart employees reported the suspects’ vehicle on July 1. Officers spotted the vehicle at a local fireworks stand, arrested Shanequia, and recovered over $1,900 in stolen merchandise. Deneshia fled the scene upon contact. Both women are linked to several other shoplifting cases and have prior felony shoplifting warrants in Byram.

Mississippi releases school accountability grades for 2023-24
