Woman accused of setting up ambush at Aberdeen motel

SUMMARY: A Columbus woman, Ovia Jackson, and two unidentified juveniles have been arrested and face charges of robbery with a deadly weapon. According to Chief Quel Shumpert, Jackson met a man at a local bar and invited him to a motel room, where Jackson, her boyfriend, and the juveniles allegedly robbed him and another man at gunpoint. They reportedly stole a gold chain and nearly $3,500. Authorities are still searching for Jackson’s boyfriend. Jackson is currently out on a $40,000 bond.
