Kentucky lawmaker under investigation for harassment rejects Beshear’s request to resign | Kentucky
SUMMARY: State Rep. Daniel Grossberg, a Louisville Democrat, is under investigation for harassment and inappropriate behavior, including being banned from a strip club for groping a dancer and making sexual propositions. Despite calls for his resignation from Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and party leaders, Grossberg’s attorney announced he will not step down, asserting the allegations are false. Grossberg faces a state ethics complaint and has lost his committee assignments. He is up for reelection in a heavily Democratic district. His attorney urges for a clear reporting policy for complaints against lawmakers to ensure proper resolution.
