Wilkinson County escapee captured
SUMMARY: Christopher Diaz successfully escaped from the community work center where he was held on charges of burglary and vehicle theft. Local authorities had advised residents against leaving their vehicles running with the doors unlocked. However, Diaz managed to evade capture and was found by the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Department along the side of Highway 61.
