BlueCross BlueShield asked to reimburse $2M to state taxpayers | North Carolina

Sports wagering still profitable despite October plummet | North Carolina

The state’s gross wagering revenue has led to an average daily gain of $359,869 since legalization, with total wagers exceeding $612 million and winnings over $560 million in October. The allocation of funds from this revenue includes $2 million for gambling addiction programs, $1 million for youth sports expansion, and $300,000 for collegiate athletic departments.
