Why are Mushrooms becoming more popular?
SUMMARY: Mushrooms are experiencing a surge in popularity, with products like snacks, broths, supplements, and even coffee incorporating them. Known for immune-boosting properties, mushrooms are rich in nutrients such as potassium, selenium, fiber, and antioxidants, including vitamin D and Ergothioneine . Though Eastern medicine has used mushrooms for centuries, research on their health benefits for humans is still ongoing. People interested in mushroom supplements should consult a doctor. Growing your own mushrooms is easy with kits, and they make a great meat substitute, though they are lower in protein. Cooking them without oil initially helps enhance their flavor.

Dallas is lone finalist for FIFA World Cup International Broadcast Center
SUMMARY: Dallas is the sole finalist for the FIFA World Cup, with plans to host the International Broadcast Center (IBC) during the event. A city council committee has proposed a $15 million investment to support the deal, which could lead to significant economic benefits, estimated at $2 billion. If approved, the IBC would be located at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, coinciding with the construction of a new convention center expected to be completed by 2028. Councilman Jesse Moreno emphasized that funding comes from hotel taxes and aims to benefit local and minority businesses during the construction.
The last time the World Cup was in the United States, Dallas was also the site of the IBC. The deal would result in thousands of journalists from all over the world calling Dallas home for several weeks.
