On the Democratic side, Ty Pinkins is the only candidate for U.S. Senate. In the House races, District Two incumbent Bennie Thompson faces three Republican challengers, while District Three incumbent Michael Guest is running unopposed. In the presidential primary, while there are four candidates listed, Donald Trump is the only active candidate. Voting for one of the other candidates will only send a message of disapproval of Trump, similar to what Democrat voters have done for President Biden in other states.
