What to expect at Mississippi State Fair on October 9-10
SUMMARY: The 164th Mississippi State Fair has started in Jackson. The fair will feature various events and activities such as the Junior Beef Breeding Show, State Floral Show, Exhibits, Ag Expo & Genuine MS Store, petting zoo, pig races, magic shows, Zerbini Family Circus, Taste of Dixie National, and live music. Admission is $5 per person and $5 per car, and children under 5 are free. Fair admission is free on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except on Columbus Day. Visitors are subject to security checks and certain rules, such as no outside food or beverage allowed.

SUMMARY: A Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto flipped over while landing at Pearson Airport on February 17, 2025.
