What is roof rejuvenation and how does it work? STL Roof Renew answers
SUMMARY: Roof Renew offers an innovative process to rejuvenate roofs for homes and businesses. Joe Marshy explains that their method sprays roofs with a plant-based formula that restores the shingles’ original color and flexibility, helping to protect against weather-related damage. This eco-friendly approach is significantly cheaper—ranging from $1,500 compared to $10,000-$40,000 for traditional replacements—and can prevent excess shingles from ending up in landfills. The rejuvenation process takes 3 to 8 hours and includes a 5-year warranty. Homeowners can learn more or schedule a consultation by visiting Roof Renew’s website or calling for an appointment.

Eric DeValkenaere’s sentence commuted in Cameron Lamb killing
SUMMARY: Missouri Governor Mike Parson commuted the prison sentence of former Kansas City police detective Eric DeValkenaere, who was convicted in 2021 for the 2019 shooting death of Cameron Lamb. DeValkenaere was sentenced to six years in prison but had been serving time since October 2023. Lamb was unarmed when shot. DeValkenaere’s family submitted a clemency request, and Governor-elect Mike Kehoe supported his release. The Lamb family expressed outrage over the decision. While the commutation reduces DeValkenaere’s sentence, it does not forgive his conviction. The situation remains controversial, with mixed reactions from officials and the public.
