WCBI Job Fair sees dozens of jobseekers visit with potential employers

SUMMARY: Employers from 20 area businesses gathered at Columbus Place in Columbus, Mississippi to find potential employees. The event was hosted by WCBI and drew hundreds of job seekers. Companies like the Eat With Us Group and Steel Dust Recycling received a lot of interest from potential workers. The Human Resource Manager of Steel Dust Recycling said they have already given out over 50 applications and plan to interview at least 20 candidates. The Human Resource Director of the Eat With Us Group emphasized that hiring just one person would make the job fair a success. Another job fair will be hosted by WCBI on September 7.

MSU hosts ceremony after new renovations on Sanderson Center

Pearl police officer, driver injured during crash on I-20

Canton man convicted in shooting death of wife
