SUMMARY: The Waterfront Rescue Mission is ensuring no one goes hungry this Thanksgiving by serving 2,300 meals in Mobile and Pensacola. Volunteers have been preparing for weeks, cooking 150 turkeys and all the sides. On Thanksgiving Day, 400 guests will be served at the mission, while more than 1,600 meals will be delivered to people in the community. The effort, led by volunteers like Bill Hul and his family, aims to bring comfort and a sense of family to those without loved ones to share the holiday with. Meals will be served starting at 11 AM, embodying the mission’s motto: “There’s room at our table for everybody.”

It’s an all-hands-on-deck effort to make sure everyone gets a warm meal this Thanksgiving.
