Warren County manhunt underway for suspect who fled from MHP
SUMMARY: Warren County deputies in Mississippi are searching for a suspect following a high-speed chase that started when the Mississippi Highway Patrol attempted to stop a stolen dark blue Mustang on Highway 27. The chase concluded on Highway 61 South after 6:30 p.m. on October 21, when the suspect, a Black male wearing green shorts and a black jacket, fled the vehicle on foot. Despite an overnight manhunt, deputies were unable to locate him. Sheriff Martin Pace urges anyone who sees suspicious activity to call 911 immediately.

North Carolina kidnapping suspect captured in Mississippi
SUMMARY: Brandon police have arrested 18-year-old Jerry Carredondo-Rocha, a suspect in a North Carolina kidnapping case. On October 21, they were alerted by the Wake County Sheriff’s Department about the suspect’s vehicle. Police located the vehicle at a business, but Carredondo-Rocha fled on Interstate 20. After a brief pursuit, he was apprehended, and a missing juvenile was found safe inside the vehicle. Carredondo-Rocha has been charged with felony evasion and is currently being held at the Rankin County Jail, with additional charges from North Carolina expected.
