Video shows police takedown after 3 officers were shot

SUMMARY: Dallas released footage of the fatal encounter with shooter Corey Cobb Bay, who killed Officer Darren Burks and two others during a high-speed chase. Cob Bay exited his vehicle on I35, armed with a shotgun, after executing Burks while he sat in his patrol car. Despite police commands to drop the weapon, Cob Bay advanced toward and was ultimately shot by them. His actions were described by Police Chief Eddie Garcia as a targeted execution of Burks. The community mourns Burks, a former teacher turned officer, as funeral services are planned at Watermark Church in Dallas.

Dallas police released dashcam video of officers taking down the shooter who killed one officer and wounded two others. It was at the end of a high-speed chase from Dallas to Lewisville on I-35E on Thursday night.

2 suspects arrested after HPD officer was shot during a home invasion were out on bond for other cri

SUMMARY: Three were a shooting involving a Houston officer during a home invasion in the Spring Branch area. Eighteen-year-old Brian Chavez appeared in court, charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, and was assigned a $100,000 bond. Brothers Michael and Raymond Perez, who have extensive criminal and were out on bond for prior offenses, are also to appear in court later . The arrests are part of ongoing investigations related to the incident.

Raymond Perez, the accused shooter, and Michael Perez have prior felony convictions, according to records, and both were out on bond when the shooting happened.
