VIDEO: Business picks up as JUCO football returns

SUMMARY: College football officially starts tonight in Booneville, bringing good business to local restaurants. Bob’s restaurant, also known as the front porch, is the oldest restaurant in town and sees a lot of customers before games. Ricky Prather and his wife, Tawana, own the restaurant and have been in the business for many years. The restaurant feels like home to many because half of it is Tawana’s childhood house. The hustle and bustle can already be seen as people prepare for the pre-game rush. Kickoff is at 6:30, and the game will be against Heinz Community College.

Junior college football starts back Thursday night. Many local businesses see more faces during football season.

Perry County School District sees rank bump up a grade
