Vancleave and Gautier post different results but both are in the Class 5A playoffs
SUMMARY: Vancleave and Gautier football teams both secured spots in the Class 5A South State playoffs. Although both teams finished with 4-1 records in Region 4-5A, Laurel earned the number one seed for playoffs due to a head-to-head tiebreaker win over Gautier. Gautier had leads of 10 and 9 points in the first half, but Laurel pulled ahead in the second half to win 48-30. Vancleave defeated Wayne County 38-35 in a battle for third place in the region. Both teams will play their first playoff games next Friday.

For Pearl River Hall of Fame inductee Nick Smith, Pearl River was the right place at the right time

MGCCC hires Myers to head Strength & Conditioning

Gulf Coast hires Walsh to lead Volleyball program
