USM Music Faculty to Perform at Carnegie Hall
SUMMARY: Three faculty members and a student from The University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Music will perform a chamber music program at Carnegie Hall on January 11 at 8 p.m. The program includes a world premiere of music by Kazandjiev, a US premiere of music by Poturlyan, and selections by Piazzolla and Brahms. The faculty members and student performing are Dr. Borislava Iltcheva, Dr. Michael Bunchman, Dr. Hsiaopei Lee, and Alexander Ilchev. They will showcase their talent and represent the School of Music at Carnegie Hall, receiving support from the Blueprint Foundation. Dr. Iltcheva is excited to represent the School of Music, where she is a violin professor, and she’s also very proud of her students.
