USM instructor designs costumes for Louis Armstrong musical
SUMMARY: Join us on November 10-12 for a unique shopping experience that also gives a sneak peek at the Broadway musical “Wonderful World,” telling the story of jazz legend Louis Armstrong. USM assistant professor Teresa Bush is an associate costume designer for this major production. The show has received great enthusiasm and has connections to the USM theater program. The production spans seven decades and showcases various locations, requiring significant efforts in costume design. It has already played in New Orleans and Chicago, with hopes to hit Broadway next year. Professor Bush proudly contributes to this creative endeavor, showcasing the rich history of Louis Armstrong’s era through detailed costuming work.
