USM dedicates football season to fallen teammate

Black History Month: Chickasaw County native redefining the cowboy image in Hollywood

Cook sees his work as a way to honor this history and inspire the next generation of black rodeo performers.
Tim Cook is a former bareback and bull rider from Houston, Mississippi. He talked to WTVA’s Michelle Martin about bringing his life as a cowboy to the big screen.
SUMMARY: A significant software glitch is disrupting Mississippi’s driver license bureaus, with operations expected to resume by the week’s end. The Department of Public Safety revealed that a routine update from a third-party vendor caused the issues, resulting in 2 to 3-hour wait times at various offices.
