UPDATE – Arrest made in Lee County hit-and-run death investigation
SUMMARY: Tonight, new information was released about a fatal hit and run in the Skyline community, Lee County. Mississippi Highway Patrol arrested William Phillips at a local gas station Saturday night. Phillips is connected to the hit and run death of Shan Heerman, who was walking along the highway Friday afternoon. The 2000 Chevy Silverado that Phillips was driving has been located. Phillips remains in the Lee County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol has made an arrest in a death investigation.

William Carey enrollment rises
