22nd annual Dudie Burger Festival happened this weekend in Tupelo

The Oren Dunn City Museum celebrated another year of preserving the city’s history with the 22nd Dudie Burger Festival.

Road closure in Tupelo will start this Tuesday

Man dies after boat catches on fire on the Tenn-Tom Waterway near Burnsville
SUMMARY: A tragic incident occurred in Tishamingo County, where a 20-year-old, Janari Pritchard, drowned after a boat fire on Sunday morning around 1:30 AM. The fire broke out on a boat carrying seven people, which had departed from the Burnsville boat ramp and traveled south of the US Highway 72 bridge. While all six others were able to escape and swim to safety, Pritchard was found deceased near the site of the fire around 11:30 AM. The coroner confirmed the details, and further updates will be provided by WTV 9 news.
