SUMMARY: The completion of the two Woolmarket roundabouts has been delayed once again by MDOT, now expected to finish by summer 2025 instead of winter 2024. Councilman David Shoemaker reports ongoing complaints regarding the construction, citing issues such as uneven surfaces and eroding road edges. The project has faced interruptions, with periods of inactivity leaving roads in poor condition. Recent problems, including grade issues causing ponding on the roadway, necessitate tearing out the existing curb and laying new asphalt, contributing to further delays.
