Ty Pinkins is a candidate for U.S. Senate
SUMMARY: Ty Pinkins, an Army veteran and attorney from Mississippi, is running for the U.S. Senate. His campaign was inspired by a meeting with eight black farm workers who felt cheated out of their pay. Investigating their claims, Pinkins discovered they were indeed being exploited due to inadequate federal policies. He then traveled to Washington, D.C., to testify before Congress, criticizing Senator Roger Wicker for failing to support local workers. Pinkins emphasizes a community-focused approach, encapsulated by his motto: “You talk, I listen, we do,” aiming to actively address the needs of Mississippi residents through collaboration.
