Two-time Super Bowl champ Willie Gay to host free youth football camp in Starkville
SUMMARY: Two-time Super Bowl champion and former Mississippi State standout Willie Gay, Jr. will host a free youth football camp in Starkville on June 8 at Starkville High School. Aimed at youth ages 6-16, the non-contact camp will feature skills sessions and games coached by current and former professional athletes. Participants will receive lunch, a t-shirt, and a gift bag. Parents must stay for the duration of the camp. Gay, a former top player from Mississippi State, was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs and recently signed with the New Orleans Saints.

Ole Miss great Eli Manning announced as modern-era finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame
SUMMARY: Eli Manning, former Ole Miss and New York Giants quarterback, has been named one of 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025. Alongside Terrell Suggs, five first-year eligibles include Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri, and Marshal Yanda. Manning, who won two Super Bowls and ranks eleventh all-time in passing yards (57,023) and touchdowns (366), enjoyed a 16-year career with a 118-118 record. His accolades include jersey retirements by Ole Miss and the Giants, and induction into various halls of fame. The Class of 2025 will be revealed on February 6, 2025.

Known for his leadership, Dart also gave back to the community. He will play one final game in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl before beginning NFL preparations. Dart is expected to be a top-10 quarterback prospect.
