Two suspects in custody after shots fired in DeSoto County

SUMMARY: Two suspects, Lamottis Simms Jr. and Franshawn Brown, are in custody for leading police on a chase after being pursued for suspected auto theft. They fired shots at officers before fleeing into a warehouse in Southaven, MS. Police are considering using tear gas to get them out. The suspects have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and possessing stolen property. No one was injured in the gunfire exchange. Police are still searching for the suspects within the warehouse and surrounding area, with some roads blocked off.
