Two inmates walkaway from FCI Yazoo City Low’s Satellite Camp
SUMMARY: Two inmates, Javier Del Rio-Larios, 38, and Celestino Valdez, 31, have escaped from the Federal Correctional Institution’s satellite camp in Yazoo City, Mississippi. They were discovered missing around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 13. Del Rio-Larios was serving a 174-month sentence for a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy, whereas Valdez was serving a 120-month sentence for meth and heroin distribution, as well as possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime. The United States Marshals Service, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies have been notified and are investigating. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Marshals Service.

SUMMARY: A Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto flipped over while landing at Pearson Airport on February 17, 2025. All 80 passengers and crew survived, with 18 hospitalized for minor injuries. Blowing snow and high winds were reported at the time of landing. Passengers described a forceful landing, with one recalling the plane suddenly rolling sideways.
