Two in custody following deadly shooting in Winona

At 3:39 PM, Wona responded to a shots fired call on Sterling Avenue, finding a black male victim with multiple gunshot wounds in a driveway. The victim has died, confirmed by Wona Police Chief Rashan Daniel. One person was taken into custody at the scene without incident, and another turned himself in shortly after. The breakfast program offers meals to all , while the lunch program provides low-cost or free lunches . The after school program supplies snacks to students in after-school care. These programs ensure that students have access to nutritious meals throughout the day.

The breakfast program will reimbursement to operate nonprofit breakfast programs in schools.
