Two charged with armed carjacking in Jackson
SUMMARY: Two juveniles were arrested after a carjacking incident in Jackson, Mississippi. The carjacking occurred at gunpoint near Taylor Road and led to a chase. Capitol police spotted the stolen vehicle on Bailey Avenue and attempted to stop it, but the driver led them on a chase. The chase ended when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed near Northside Drive. Both the driver and the passenger fled the scene but were arrested without incident. The juveniles will be charged with armed carjacking.
