Two charged after pot, meth found at Mississippi town official’s home
SUMMARY: In Byhalia, Mississippi, Alderwoman Delainer Richmond and Curtis Richmond were arrested following a police search that uncovered marijuana plants, methamphetamine, firearms, and ammunition at a home on Katie Lane. The operation, conducted by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Byhalia Police, led to Delainer Richmond being charged with conspiracy and manufacturing marijuana, with a $5,000 bond. Curtis Richmond faces similar charges, plus possession of a firearm by a felon, with a $7,500 bond. The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is involved and may pursue federal charges. Police responded to a 3 a.m. alarm call and found a shed with narcotics.

Ole Miss women get pair of double-doubles and roll to 83-65 March Madness win over Ball State
