Twenty-five schools receiving $1.4 million to improve technical and career education

SUMMARY: Mississippi is allocating 1.4 million dollars to Career and Technical Education programs in 25 high schools and districts across the state. The Equipped Mississippi grant program aims to fund modernization, replacement, or enhancement of priority sector Career and Technical High School programs. Schools receiving funding include Adaa Career and Technical Center, Loun County School District, and Lee County CTE Center. A full list of all schools receiving funding is available on wtva.com. This investment demonstrates Mississippi’s commitment to improving Career and Technical Education opportunities for students across the state.



More than two dozen schools are receiving $1.4 million to promote career and technical education, according to Accelerate MS.
