Trump endorses 3 GOP governor candidates
SUMMARY: Before Missourians can vote in the general election, they must select local primary candidates on November’s ballot. The Missouri primary election is next Tuesday, with notable Republican contenders being Secretary of State Jay Ashcraft, Senator Bill Igel, and Lieutenant Governor Mike Kio. Former President Trump has endorsed all three candidates. In a recent debate, Ashcraft and Igel outlined their visions for Missouri, emphasizing their commitment to strict immigration policies, with Ashcraft vowing to deport all illegal immigrants in the state. They also criticized Kio for not participating in the televised debate. The full debate is available online.

What the West Coast bomb cyclone and atmospheric river may mean for St. Louis
SUMMARY: A significant weather change is expected Wednesday as temperatures dip closer to November norms. Meanwhile, a bomb cyclone is intensifying in the Pacific Northwest, paralleling an atmospheric river that will soon grab headlines. This explosive storm, equivalent to a category 4 hurricane, has dropped nearly 60 millibars in 24 hours, resulting in extreme winds, waves, and rainfall. The atmospheric river is bringing a narrow band of tropical moisture stretching over 4,000 miles, leading to anticipated rainfall of 8-12 inches in valleys and substantial snowfall in higher elevations. Cold air will follow but won’t linger long, allowing for a warm-up by the weekend.
A significant weather change is expected on Wednesday as temperatures dip closer to November norms. However, this shift is minor compared to the massive storm hitting the Pacific Northwest.
