Tropical Update 10/16/23
SUMMARY: The chief meteorologist gives a tropical update, stating that there is an unorganized area in the central part of the Atlantic with an 80% chance of developing into something. It may affect the northern Leeward Islands before being pushed out to sea by a cold front. The Atlantic is starting to calm down, which is normal for this time of year. There are only two names left on the list for naming storms. As we approach the end of October and head towards November, tropical activity usually decreases.
