Bossier City Council votes against term limits ordinance | Louisiana
SUMMARY: An ordinance proposing term limits for Bossier City Council members was rejected during a recent council meeting, despite strong community support. Councilman Brian Hammons highlighted the high legal fees incurred in opposing term limits and stressed the need for accountability among council members. The ordinance aimed to limit council members to three terms and would have allowed for a public vote in December.
