Trial continued for father, son accused of shooting at FedEx driver

SUMMARY: A continuance has been granted in the trial of Brandon and Gregory Case, accused of shooting at FedEx driver D’Monterrio Gibson in Mississippi in January 2022. The trial, initially for October 11, will resume on an undetermined future date. A mistrial was declared in August 2023 due to missing critical evidence from a detective. Although Gibson was not , the Cases face charges attempted first-degree murder. The trial may be rescheduled for February or April 2025.
