SUMMARY: The Jackson Storage Center on Highway 18 has caught fire for the second time in recent months, with the call coming in at 6 a.m. Monday. The previous fire in September damaged 25% of the building, and firefighters faced difficulties extinguishing the blaze due to the building’s tin construction and hard-to-access areas. It took three days to fully contain the earlier fire, which was determined to have been intentionally set. The cause of the current fire is still under investigation, and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters and AMR are actively working to put out the flames.
