Tree falls on home in Macedonia, no injuries reported
SUMMARY: Early morning storms in the Pine Belt area caused extensive damage, with downed trees and power lines being reported in Forest County. One home in the Macedonia area was severely damaged, leaving the homeowner shocked and devastated. A mother and daughter narrowly escaped harm when a tree destroyed their mobile home during the storm. The Macedonia Volunteer Fire Department responded to numerous calls for help, including the one at Sha's Road. The homeowner, who had previously lost a son to illness, expressed her worry for her daughter during the storm, highlighting the emotional impact of previous tragedies on her family. WDAM 7 reported on the devastating effects of the storm in the area.

2 people in custody after apartment shooting
SUMMARY: A front will pass tomorrow, but in developing news, there was a shooting this afternoon at the Park at Inverness apartment complex. Jackson Police reported that around 1 PM, multiple suspects were involved in a shootout, damaging cars and buildings. Two people of interest have since been taken into custody.

Tenth annual “AD 47 Leadership Academy” a success
