SUMMARY: ABC Action News meteorologist Dennis Phillips reports on Tropical Storm Milton, which is expected to strengthen into a hurricane and potentially a major hurricane by landfall on Wednesday afternoon. He emphasizes the forecast’s margin of error, indicating the storm could impact various areas on Florida’s west coast. The forecast line is crucial, as it shows where the strongest winds and storm surge may occur. While a cold front might weaken Milton, the Bay Area is at risk for hurricane-force winds. The exact locations of extreme winds remain uncertain as predictions evolve.

www.youtube.com – CBS Miami – 2024-11-14 16:33:46

SUMMARY: The family of missing South Florida woman Anna Kovich is a step closer to closure as her estranged husband, David Kovich, has been charged with her murder and kidnapping. Kovich has been in federal custody since May, but today’s charges provide hope for her family, who believe it may lead to answers about her disappearance in February while the couple was amid a bitter divorce. Surveillance footage allegedly shows him purchasing duct tape and spray paint in Spain. Kovich’s attorney contests the evidence, calling it insufficient. Kovich is scheduled for arraignment in federal court next week.

CBS News Miami’s Joan Murray has the latest on the investigation and what happened in court on Thursday.
