However, there is uncertainty due to conflicting signals between the warm waters and a robust El Niño pattern, which typically increases wind shear and tears apart storms. The extreme warmth in the Atlantic may counteract some of the wind shear, potentially leading to more storms. The official Atlantic hurricane season begins on June 1 and ends on Nov. 30.

All aboard Delta flight survive after plane flips while landing in Toronto
