While it may weaken due to significant shear as it approaches Florida, it could still make landfall as a Category 2 or minimal Category 3 hurricane. The storm is expected to generate powerful surge and extreme winds, mainly affecting areas south of landfall. Exact impact locations remain uncertain due to varying model predictions.
