Tracking Oscar and another warm, dry week ahead

Fire danger is increasing due to drought conditions, with updated forecasts anticipated on Thursday.

New Orleans Weather: Warming up this week into the 80s with no rain

In the tropics, Hurricane Oscar is approaching eastern Cuba with winds of 80 mph and is forecasted to move -southwest, eventually making a northeasterly turn. Warnings are in effect for eastern Cuba and tropical storm watches for the central Bahamas.
