Tracking Helene as it moves towards Atlanta

Eventually, it will stall over Kentucky, impacting the region with its lingering presence.

Georgia gas prices hold steady ahead of holiday weekend | Georgia

A fuel tax moratorium implemented by Governor Brian Kemp ended on October 16. The lowest gas prices are in the Catoosa-Dade-Walker area at $2.77, while the highest are in Hinesville-Fort Stewart at $3. AAA warns that Hurricane Sara could potentially impact prices soon. As Thanksgiving approaches, over 71 million Americans are expected to travel by car, surpassing last year’s record of 70.4 million. Georgia’s gas prices remain below the national average of $3.07.
